the flynn center for the performing arts

Arts Education is a vital part of the Flynn’s mission, evidenced by the over 45,000 students in the community and in schools that we serve each year. Whether attending a Student Matinee performance with their classmates, finding joy in a FlynnArts after-school dance, drama, or music class, writing an original play with the guidance of a Vermont Young Playwrights Program teaching artist, discovering new meaning in a history lesson through Words Come Alive! classroom arts integration, or taking center stage in a Summer Youth Theatre production or Jazz concert, our students are experiencing the power of arts education to open minds, open hearts, and open doors to their unlimited human potential.
